2006 Detroit Archers Field Championship is complete! See results page for standings. The winner receives $100 for the highest adjusted combined Field/Hunter score; second place $50. Shoot both the Field & Hunter Courses with your scores adjusted against the North American IFAA Field/Hunter Records for your class. If your score is the highest overall at the end of the summer, you will win $100; $50 for second place. Shoot as many times as you wish, with your highest combined scores counting toward the championship. Cost to shoot each round is $5. Listed below are the eligible classes and their handicaps as against the North American IFAA records: The above handicaps will be added to the shooter's highest combined score from the Field & Hunter Rounds to compute adjusted highest scores. You must shoot with a partner and your scorecard must be witnessed by the person you are shooting with. Description of Classes for Detroit Archers Field Archery Championship Class | Description | Freestyle Unlimited Compound | Anything goes | Freestyle Limited Recurve | Any type of sights, no release aid | Freestyle Limited Compound | Any type of sights, no release aid | Barebow Recurve | Allowable equipment includes adjustable rest, stabilizers, draw checks, and levels. Fingers only | Barebow Compound | Allowable equipment includes adjustable rest, stabilizers, draw checks, and levels. Fingers only | Bowhunter Recurve | No levels, sights, clickers, or string walking. Stabilizer limited to 12 inches | Bowhunter Compound | No levels, sights, clickers, or string walking. Stabilizer limited to 12 inches | Bowhunter Compound Limited | Same as Bowhunter Unlimited, except no release aids allowed | Bowhunter Compound Unlimited | Up to 5 fixed pins, peep or kisser, not both, no magnification in peep, release aids allowed | Longbow | Any stickbow where the string only touches the bow at the string nocks.
